Mr. Sice met the King & Queen of England when Queen Elizabeth was 12 years old. He was demonstrating how to put together a machine gun while blind folded. He fought during the Battle of The Bulge and at Bastone. He said that he would wrap himself in newspaper and then put his clothes over the newspaper to shield him from the cold wind. One time while in France, he was so hungry for stew that he killed a jackrabbit. After getting vegetables and potatoes from a nearby farm, he dug a foxhole, put the rabbit and vegetables in his helmet, and then placed the helmet in the hole. He boiled everything in the helmet and had stew. He said the next night they had 7 helmets going. Mr. Sice is a full blood Indian from Laguna.
