America's Veterans has chosen to pay tribute to the late Dr. Westhphall during the month of Veterans Day in honor of everything he has done for our veterans.

Dr. Victor Westphall Branch of Service: United States Navy Era: WWII Units Served: Office Messenger Mail Centers Served: Ondonga, Solomon Islands Leyte, Philippines Samar, Philippines Mindoro, Philippines Balikpapan, Borneo Victor David Westphall III, Mr. Westphall's son, was KIA on May 22, 1968, while serving in Viet Nam. In an effort to honor his son and all the young men and women that served during the Viet Nam era, Mr. Westphall and his family built the Vietnam Veterans National Memorial in Angel Fire, NM.
